Our Mission
The Brier Creek Elementary community will foster a safe and stimulating environment conducive to strengthening the academic, social and emotional well-being of every child so that they blaze the trail of life-long learning!

Adding "Time to Support Learning and Teaching"
2009-2010 Bell schedule change for the use of time to support learning and teaching, developing techniques for strengthening and enriching students’ skills. For more information, click here

  • Every Wednesday, all Wake County Schools will release one hour early to allow for PLC meetings
  • Six early-release days are also included in 2009-10. All Wake County schools will dismiss 2.5 hours early. These early release days also occur on Wednesday.

Brier Creek Elementary Kindergarten Events
Come and learn tips to help prepare your child for Kindergarten.  For more information on this and other upcoming events for new Kindergarten students click here .

Kindergarten Registration for the 2009-2010 school year from 9:00am - 3:00pm Monday through Friday. Students attending kindergarten must be 5 years of age on or before August 31, 2009.

  • Certified copy of the child’s birth certificate
  • Immunization history
  • Photo ID of parent completing registration
  • Proof of residence in Wake County (1 of following)
  • current gas, power, or water bill

Volunteer Information

A special thank you for your involvement with our school and in the support you give your child everyday. You care and it shows. The staff welcomes you as a volunteer, all you have to do is register in the Media Center. There are a lot of opportunities provided by the school and the PTA. Contact your child’s teacher or our PTA to see how you can help.
